Pastor Adeboye Still Remains the G.O of Redeem World Wide, Pastor Obayemi to be Nigeria G.O

Pastor E.A Adeboye has appointed Pastor Joseph Obayemi to lead the Redeemed Christian Church of God Nigeria.

Obayemi will be the 'national overseer' while Adeboye remains the general overseer worldwide.

Adeboye retires as RCCG G.O. and Obayemi has been named as successor

Earlier report had it that Adeboye has retired as the general overseer of the church.

However, a statement signed by Leke Adeboye, the clergyman's last son clarified that Adeboye remains the general overseer, Worldwide of RCCG while Obayemi will be leading the RCCG Nigeria.

According to him, the development was in line with the new legal requirements set up by the Financial Regulations Council, guiding all registered churches, mosques, and CSOs.

"The regulation stipulates that heads of non profit organisations like churches now have a maximum period of twenty years to lead their organizations while in retirement, they are not permitted to hand over to their families ," the statement read.

Here is also the letter written by Pastor Adeboye to inform the new appointees of their new roles in the ministry.

Before his appointment, Obayemi was the former special assistant to the general overseer on finance.

Pastor Johnson Odesola, who was the special assistant on administration and personnel, was also appointed as the church secretary.

Recall that last year, the church said those calling for his retirement because of his age were ignorant of the church’s doctrine.

Adeboye, 74, was appointed general overseer of the church in 1991, taking over from Papa Akindayomi, who had died the previous year.

Nigerians have since reacted to the news about the appointment of a new head for the church in Nigeria as some expressed deep shock on hearing the news.

How God Saved me Through a Witch - Pastor E.A Adeboye

GENERAL Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye recently revealed how God used a witch to stop him from eating kola nut which would have lead to his death if he did not stop the act.

Narrating his experience while delivering a sermon tiled: “God Loves Me” during the annual thanksgiving service and prophetic declaration at the church national headquarters, Throne of Grace parish in Ebute-Meta, Lagos, Pastor Adeboye attributed his continued survival to God’s faithfulness, and love, saying those whom God loves are more than conquerors.

In his words: “I was telling my children that whenever we wanted to study at night while we were young, we used kola nut as our own coffee as we did not have money to buy coffee. We ate the kola nut to stay awake.

“One day, the number one self confessed witch in our compound, called me and said: “Dejare, why won’t you stop eating kola nut? The witch warned me to desist from what can lead to my death. I think God spoke through the witch and I can say God loves me,” Adeboye stated.

Continuing, the cleric said: “You are alive today not because you are clever, wise or know how to do it but simply because God loves you. There are lots of people who are in the prison who are free. I was at the Kirikiri Prison where I heard testimonies that brought tears to my eyes. Some of them said they were in prison but they are free men because they have Jesus; they were incarcerated but they are free. And there are people who are outside the prison who are prisoners.

“It is because God loves you that you are able to conquer all that the devil threw at you last year. Left for the enemy you, will not be here today but because God loves you, you are more than conqueror,” Daddy G.O. said.

Adeboye then admonished Christians that God expects those He loves to respond by honouring Him with their tithes and first fruits and love their neighours, noting that the greatest gift Christians can give their neighbours is introducing them to Christ.

Also speaking, the Assistant General Overseer to G.O. on Administration and Personnel, Pastor Johnson Odesola, said it was high time government did something to ameliorate the incessant Fun of violence in southern Kaduna often leading to killing of innocent citizens and destruction of properties before it escalates to the type of Boko Haram problem the nation is nursing today.

He said: “This was how the problem of Boko Haram started and the government felt it was a small thing until the sect became a thorn in the flesh of Nigerians.’’

Groom refuses to cancel wedding ceremony after his bride died on wedding day

43 year-old Fana Maphumulo, from South Africa refused to cancel his wedding ceremony with his wife to be, Nana Mkhize died an hour before tying the knot on their wedding day last Saturday.

According to reports, sometime in October this year, 42 year-old Nana had told Fana that she had dreamt she would die on her wedding day, but the couple didn’t take much notice of the dream and moved on with their wedding plans.

On the wedding day, hundreds of guests had arrived at the beautifully decorated wedding venue at Kloof Civic Centre, Durban, South Africa, to witness the couple’s big day only for Nana’s dream to become a reality.

The deceased, who is from G section in Umlazi, south Durban, South Africa, was reportedly admitted to the hospital the day before her wedding, complaining of feeling weak. She died an hour before it was time for her to tie the knot, reports say.

But amazingly, Fana from Hammersdale, west of Durban, South Africa, stood strong, continued with the wedding ceremony and asked the pastor to pray as he placed both rings on his finger.

The couple had reportedly been in a relationship for more than 20 years. They both have four kids and had been planning the wedding for many years before the tragic incident on their wedding day.

US Presidential Candidate Donald Trump Escapes Death On Stage During Campaign Just Close To Election Day (photos)

Donald Trump was rushed off a stage here Saturday by Secret Service agents during a campaign speech after an incident in the crowd near the front of the stage.

A Secret Service spokesperson said in a statement there was a commotion in the crowd and an “unidentified individual” shouted “gun,” though no weapon was found after a “thorough search.”

A man, who later identified himself to reporters as Austyn Crites , was then immediately detained and led out by a throng of police officers, Secret Service agents and SWAT officers armed with assault rifles to a side room.

A law enforcement official later told CNN no charges were filed against Crites.

After he was released from custody, Crites told reporters the incident started off when he raised a “Republicans Against Trump” sign.
Crites said he was then assaulted by a group of people around him before anyone shouted anything about a gun.

All of a sudden, because they couldn’t grab the sign, or whatever happened, bam, I get tackled by all these people who were just, like, kicking me and grabbing me in the crotch and just, just beating the crap out of me,” Crites said, according to KTNV. “And somebody yells something about a gun, and so that’s when things really got out of hand.”

Trump was unharmed and returned to the stage minutes later to finish his speech.

Please Help Me! My Husband Has Refused To Have S*x With Me Because Of This Disturbing Thing (photo)

A woman is about to run mad over the disturbing thing that happens to her private part each time she wants to have s*x with her husband.

She wrote:-

“My husband and I have been together for four years and our marriage has been good to say the least apart from one disturbing thing.

“For about a year now, he keeps telling me that I always have a funny smell. Sometimes I can detect a distant smell but he makes it sound really bad to the extent that we no longer have foreplay during sex.

“I have tried everything including using roll on and I shower every day, but he says the smell is still there. I am very embarrassed by this and have even lost self-confidence since I cannot help but wonder how many other people actually pick up the smell.

“I don’t know what to do about this but I’m worried our intimacy is headed south, please help me.”

Paul Pogba Needs Time to Adjust - Jose Mourinho

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has revealed Paul Pogba needs time to adjust.

The French star joined United in the summer for a world record fee, but has yet to fully settle in at his boyhood club.

He scored two goals in United’s 4-1 Europa League rout of Fernabahce, and Mourinho admitted that he needed time to get back to his best.

“Two days ago he was the worst player in the Premier League and 48 hours later he is phenomenal,” Mourinho is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

“He needs time. I was in Italy, I know Italian football. To be in Italy for four or five years and come back, I was not expecting it to be a click of the fingers for intensity. He needs time.”

“We wanted the win because it was really important and now we are top of the group and are looking forward to the next game,” Pogba said after the game.

“I told Wayne [Rooney] I wanted to take the penalty and he let me. I am very happy to score that penalty and from a player like him to let me it is big respect so I am very glad.

“I feel comfortable with all of the team. It is just at the start of the season and there is still a long way to go and we want to go up and do our best and be top of the [Premier] League.”

100 million viewers: US Presidential election debate between Trump & Clinton to be the most viewed in history

The U.S Presidential election debate that will hold
tonight between candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump will be the most viewed presidential debate in history with some commentators forecasting Super Bowl-sized viewership of around 100 million Americans.

The debate will be live, unscripted and unpredictable and is expected to break the record TV audience of 80 million for the 1980 Presidential debate between Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan.

The predicted high viewing figures is as a result of the the extraordinary nature of the campaign, featuring Donald Trump, the outspoken Billionaire businessman and former reality TV star, competing for the White House with Hillary Clinton, the former U.S. secretary of state and first woman to run for the White House.

"My prediction is a 100 million audience, and maybe more," said Paul Levinson, a communications professor at New York's Fordham University and author of "McLuhan in an Age of Social Media."

"The Super Bowl shows that when there is something that is really special, something that can command people's interest, something you want to see on a big screen, television has this enormous power and reach," Levinson said.

How Nigeria Loses 6.33trillion Naira (photos)

With Nigeria's Real debt stock now hitting N19tr
Nigeria will spend an equivalent of its 2016 budget to service debts as its currency, the naira, continues to lose value against the United States dollar.

Devaluation has put the real value of the country’s debt stock at around N18.9 trillion, when considered at the official rate of N307.79 per dollar, according to figures from the Debt Management Office.

The additional naira stock (per dollar) that would be needed to service existing debt will cause the country to lose about N6.33 trillion, a near-equivalent of the 2016 budget, when compared to N12.6 trillion at N197 per dollar as at December 31, 2015. It is also a disincentive for future external borrowing despite a positive debt-to-GDP ratio.

“Hiding under the mantra of low debt-to-Gross Domestic Product is deceitful,” a public sector financial analyst, who asked not to be named, told The Guardian in Lagos at the weekend. “The economy is in recession and cannot churn out those activities anymore.

“If we compare our debt service bill without revenue earnings ratio, it is not sustainable and that is where foreign investors will be looking at to price our international bonds,” the public sector analyst said.

“With more than 21 per cent of the entire budget dedicated to debt service and more than 33 per cent of the total budget being in deficit, the budget performance is now made worse with near-non-activities called recession. The reality is daunting,” the source said.

The additional N6.33 trillion required to pay off Nigeria’s external debt represents 20.58 per cent, a one-fifth of its estimated $296 billion, or N91 trillion GDP.

The national debt stock consists of external obligations for both federal and state governments estimated at $11.3 billion (about N3.5 trillion); domestic obligations of $37.5 billion (about N11.5 trillion) and $12.7 billion (about N3.9 trillion) for federal and states respectively.

The devaluation was necessitated by the plummeted foreign exchange earnings, which created huge unmet demand due to the shortage of dollar and naturally erased the value of the local currency through speculations.

The debt report released by the Debt Management Office came two weeks behind schedule and put the debt stock by June 30, 2016 at $61.45 billion. The report stressed that the figure was higher in naira value than the $71.66 billion posted on March 31, 2016.

The amount, also at current official rate of N307.93 per dollar is higher than the estimated $65.43 billion debt worth N12.6 trillion as at December 31, 2015, at N197/$.

With a planned N1.8 trillion borrowing to fund the N2.2 trillion deficit in 2016 budget, from a mix of dollar-denominated and local debts, the country’s obligations and associated service bill will rise to new record high soon.

Already, the 2016 budget had a debt service provisioning in excess of N1.4 trillion, representing more than one-fifth of the entire budget plan.

The combined forces of devaluation and inflation, also took toll on the nation’s economic activities between December 2014 and 2015, eroding naira value, as well as pushing the sovereign debt stock to ₦12.12 trillion.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) had in November 2014, tactically devalued the naira and barely three months later, it devalued the local unit further to ₦199/$.

Besides the concern for eroded value of the currency, which requires more naira to offset the debt stock when denominated in dollar terms, a conservative estimate of about N920 billion was lost to the then exchange rate, occasioned by devaluation, even at lower debt stock of $63.5 billion (June 2015), compared to $67.7 billion in December 2014.

The national debt stock as at then showed that the Federal and States external obligations as at December 31, 2014, stood at ₦11.2 trillion ($67.7 billion), but moved to ₦12.06 trillion ($63.5 billion) three months later and ₦12.12 trillion ($63.8 billion) as at June 30, 2015.

Given the eroding value, Nigeria lost about ₦920 billion to devaluation, with respect to the debt stock, representing 8.2 per cent loss over the actual value in six months.

Also within the period under review, the inflationary trend has been on persistent upward movement. Although still in single digit, it moved from eight per cent to 9.4 per cent, trend, defying all liquidity tightening measures of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Still, the estimation of ₦920 billion loss appears to be conservative, given the fact that the domestic debts of sub-national governments (states) were denominated in dollar at the 2013 exchange rate of ₦155.7/$, which is not attainable now.

For example, if the states’ domestic debt profiles were denominated in current dollar exchange rate at ₦307.79, the total estimate would push losses far beyond N1 trillion mark.

See How Female IDPs Now Exchanges Sex for Food In IDPs Camps (photos)

Given the living condition of Internally Displaced Person’s (IDPS’s) in the North East, there is an indication that about 66 percent of camp officials, 28 percent from host communities and 6 percent of elders are sexually molesting the vulnerable ones, a situational
Assessment survey on IDP’s in North-East conducted by NOI Polls has revealed.

NOIPolls, incorporated in 2007 has been in the forefront of championing public opinion research in Nigeria and across the West African sub-region in technical partnership with Gallup (USA).

Among startling revelations from the report is that some of the female IDPs voluntarily offer camp officials sex for food and for freedom of movement within and outside the camps just as others offer themselves for basic female sanitary requirements.

The major aim of the survey was to highlight the controversies surrounding the general welfare of IDP’s in the North-East. It was conducted between July 4th to July 29th, 2016 where a total of 400 contacts attempted the questions.
A breakdown of the report indicated that 190 respondents were drawn from Borno, 128 in Adamawa and 82 in Yobe states.

The respondents were aged between 18 years and above while the face-to-face survey technique enabled NOIPolls to capture the reality of the IDPs.

According to the findings, “Though the provision of firewood is the responsibility of local government areas and State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) as stipulated in the Memorandum of Understanding signed between federal government and state government, thousands of IDP’s including lactating mothers, children and elderly starve due to the absence of firewood.

The survey however revealed increase in social vices at the camps like drug abuse, consumption of illicit drugs, prostitution and petty crime as a result of the general poor welfare and deplorable living conditions of the IDPs.

“There are also rising cases of unwanted pregnancies, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and HIV/AIDs while some IDP’s had fallen prey to unscrupulous members of host communities who take advantage of their plight to force them into early marriages and even kidnap them for child labour”, the report added.

The report highlighted that 85 percent of IDPs in Adamawa and 84 percent in Yobe are facing incidences of discrimination compared to 76 percent in Borno which was linked to ethnic problems that had existed between the northern and southern Borno natives.

Presenting the survey, the Chief Executive Officer of NOIPolls, Dr Bell Ihua confirmed that only 10 to 20 percent of IDP’s lived in camps while 80 to 90 percent lived in host communities stressing that petty crimes and drug abuse were also on the increase at the camps.

Ihua regretted the rising cases of mortality, which he said that 88 percent IDP’s died on daily basis as was witnessed during the survey adding that there was a cholera outbreak in the camps.

He requested for unannounced presidential visit by Muhammadu Buhari to Maiduguri as a way of boosting the morals of security agencies fighting insurgency in the area even as he advocated for increased funding for the IDP’s.

Also speaking, the Chairman of Civil Society Organisation Network, Borno state, Amb Ahmed Shehu expressed worry over the increasing cases of prostitution at the camps which may result to HIV/ AIDS and other infectious diseases.

“In camps and host communities, women need cash-based assistance to establish livelihoods such as tailoring, processing and selling flour or groundnut oil, milk and among others”, he said.
On his part, the Director of Forefront Media, Mr Mohammed Alfa who is a native of Gwoza called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and independent Corrupt Practices and other related Offences Commission (ICPC) to visit Borno state and access the financial impropriety of Borno government towards the starving IDPs.

Militants Sponsors Revealed by Buhari. Check out who

Buhari said in a statement that Nigeria Past Looters Recruited Niger-Delta Militants Against his government.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday explained how and why Nigeria got into trouble.
The president blamed the country's woes the failure of his predecessors, from 1999 to 2015, to save for the rainy days .

He was in New York addressing top rate Nigeria professionals in the United States of America, whom Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Diaspora Matters and International Relations, described as "15 of the best people God ever created."

Among them are top flight aeronautics engineers, physicians, I.T experts, a judge, a top policewoman, entrepreneurs, an import specialist at Customs and Border Protection, professors, two straight A students and many others.

Buhari stated: "I am very pleased with this meeting," President Buhari stated. "Wherever you go in the world, you find highly competent and outstanding Nigerians. They not only make great impact on their host countries and communities, their financial remittances back home also help our economy, particularly at a time like this, when things are down.

"We got into trouble as a country, because we did not save for the rainy day. For example, between 1999 and 2015, when we produced an average of 2.1 million barrels of oil per day, and oil prices stood at an average of $100 per barrel, we did not save, neither did we develop infrastructure. Suddenly, when we came in 2015, oil prices fell to about 30 dollars per barrel.

“I asked; where are the savings? There were none. Where are the railways? The roads? Power? None. I further asked; what did we do with billions of dollars that we made over the years? They said we bought food. Food with billions of dollars? I did not believe, and still do not believe.

“In most parts of Nigeria, we eat what we grow. People in the South eat tubers, those in the North eat grains, which they plant, and those constitute over 60 per cent of what we eat. So, where did the billions of dollars go? We did a lot of damage to ourselves by not developing infrastructure when we had the money.

"Talking of our military, they earned respect serving in places like Burma, Zaire, Sudan, Liberia, Sierra-Leone, and then, suddenly, that same military could no longer secure 14 out of 774 local governments in the country. Insurgents had seized them, calling them some sort of caliphate, and planting their flags there; till we came, and scattered them.

"We raised the morale of our military, changed the leadership, re-equipped and retrained them; USA, Britain, and some other countries helped us, and today, the pride of our military is restored.

"Boko Haram ran riot, killing innocent people in churches, mosques, markets, schools, motor parks, and so on. And they would then shout Allahu Akbar. But if they truly knew Allah, they would not do such evil. Neither Islam, nor any other religion I know of, advocates hurting the innocent. But they shed innocent blood, killed people in their thousands. Now, we have dealt with that insurgency, and subverted their recruitment base."

President Buhari also stated that "those who stole Nigeria dry are not happy. "They recruited the militants against us in the Niger Delta, and began to sabotage oil infrastructure. We lose millions of barrels per day, at a time when every dollar we can earn, counts. It is a disgrace that a minimum of 27 states, out of 36 that we have in Nigeria, can't pay salaries.

See Why ISIS bans Iraqi citizens from wearing Barca, Man U, Chelsea and Real Madrid kits, says defaulters face 80 lashes

International Islamic terrorist group ISIS has banned Iraqi citizens in Al-Furat province from wearing football jerseys of Barcelona, Man U, Real Madrid , Chelsea and a list of other clubs in Western nations according to a report by Mirror UK.

The decision by ISIS Hisba religious police also extends to sportswear giants Nike and Adidas and defaulters will be given 80 lashes of the cane in public if caught wearing any of the banned sports wear.

Boko Haram Now Rated ‘World’s Most Lethal Terrorist Group’, Deadlier Than ISIS, Al-Qaeda

Boko Haram rated ‘world’s mostlethal terrorist group’; deadlier than ISIS, Al-Qaeda
Two United States, U.S-based humanitarian organisations, 21st Century Wilberforce Initiative and Stefanus Foundation, have identified Boko Haram as the most lethal terrorist group in the world.

The organisations disclosed this to a group of journalists while speaking about the challenges faced by victims of terrorism in Nigeria.

According to the Executive Director of the Stefanus Foundation, Mark Lipdo, “Global Terrorism index shows that Boko Haram is the world’s most lethal terrorist group, followed by ISIS, while Al-Qaeda ranks third and the Fulani militants mostly in the middle belt rank 4th”.

The 2015 Global Terrorism Index, GTI, had ranked Nigeria as the third most terrorized country in the world up from the fourth position it occupied last year.

Out of the 162 countries of the world that have been worst hit by terrorist attacks, Nigeria, in the latest ranking, follows Iraq and Afghanistan, who were ranked first and second respectively.

The report ranked Pakistan and Syria as the fourth and fifth to complete the top five most terrorized countries.

Lipdo disclosed that 14.8 million Nigerians are directly hit by the crisis in the north east, adding that 1500 schools in the region have been closed, 611 teachers dead and 19,000 others displaced, with 950,000 children forced to stay out of schools, 2000 abducted and 10, 000 boys forced to join Boko Haram.

According to him, “14.8 million Nigerians from north-east are directly impacted by the crisis. Officially, there are 2.2 million Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs.

“Unofficially, there are five to seven millionIDPs. Those in need of special assistance are 2.5 million, comprising children under the age of five, pregnant women and nursing mothers.”

Also speaking at the meeting, the Vice President of the 21st Wilberforce Initiative,Elijah Brown said Nigeria has the third-highest number of internally displaced persons, IDPs, in Africa and the seventh inthe world.

He lamented the menace of herdsmen in the north central and called for quick intervention. As at January this year, the Chief of Army Staff, COAS, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai had stated that the Nigerian Army hasdefeated Boko Haram, assuring that the army will remain vigilant to crush any formof insurgency.

“The North East operation is critical at this stage. The terrorists have been defeated; these criminals may rear their ugly heads through other means. We will continue to maintain vigilance,” the army chief stated.

See the Woman Behind Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Split (photos)

Angelina dumped Brad after private eye uncovered Marion Cotillard affair
Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from Brad Pitt after learning he was cheating on her with his sexy co-star, a well-placed source told The Post on Tuesday.

“She hired a private eye because she felt that he was fooling around with her on the set, and it turns out, he was. And that was the final straw,’’ the source said.

Pitt, 52, had been rumored to have been cozying up to his “Allied’’ co-star Marion Cotillard, 40, for months during the pair’s filming of the World War II drama in London.

The PI discovered that Pitt was cheating on his wife of two years with Cotillard — while also partying like a single guy on a mission, the source said.

“The atmosphere [off-set] was full of hard drugs and Russian hookers, and Angie was told Brad got caught up in it,’’ the source said.

“He’s in the throes of some insane midlife crisis, and Angie is fed up.”

But a source close to Cotillard denied the Pitt affair rumors and insisted she is still with her long-term partner, French actor and director Guillaume Canet.

“They are still very much together. They have been a couple since 2007 and have one child but have never married,’’ the source said of Cotillard and Canet.

The source could not confirm French reports that Cotillard is pregnant with her second child with Canet.

Jolie’s manager, Geyer Kosinski, said Tuesday, “Angelina will always do what’s in the best interest to protect her children.

“She appreciates everyone’s understanding of their need for privacy at this time,’’ he told E! News.

Pitt added in a statement to People magazine, “I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids.

“I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time.”

In addition to her husband’s alleged affair, Jolie, 41, was sick and tired of constantly sparring over their lifestyle, another source told The Post.

She has increasingly wanted to quit Hollywood in favor of devoting herself full-time to traveling the globe for her humanitarian work, while Pitt prefers Tinseltown and its parties, the source said.

Jolie spoke before the United Nations in Manhattan just this past Friday to ask them to help millions of Syrian refugees.

“The older she gets, the more serious she becomes, and she is sick of the Hollywood thing,’’ the second source said.

“He wants to make movies. She doesn’t. It’s a fundamental difference. It’s how you live your life.’’

Making matters worse, Pitt is closer to Jolie’s famous actor dad, Jon Voight, than she is, the source said.

“Jon’s a Hollywood guy, and she’s been estranged. Brad hangs out with her father more than she does,’’ the source said.

Another source told TMZ that Jolie believes that her hubby’s drinking and pot-smoking is affecting their kids.

Add to that his “anger problem,” and the mom of six said enough is enough, the source told the website.

Jolie filed for divorce Monday, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

She is seeking physical custody of the couple’s kids, TMZ said. She doesn’t want Pitt to have joint physical custody, just joint legal custody. He would get visitation, according to her filing.
Jolie is not seeking spousal support, the website said.

Brangelina’s French chateau, Miraval — where the couple married in August 2014 — has been quietly on the market for a few months, and locals were told they were selling it because they are breaking up, a source told The Post.

Jolie has hired top gun Laura Wasser as her lawyer.

The court documents list the couple’s date of separation as Sept. 15, 2016.

The couple have been together since 2004.

A rep for Cotillard did not immediately get back to The Post.

5 Things You Shouldn't Share On Facebook

Check out the 5 things that you shouldn't do on facebook, it's been written as an advise so that we can be security conscious. Our life matters so also does our privacy.

The following are the 5 things you shouldn't share on Facebook:

1. PHONE NUMBER OR E-mail:

If it's your mobile phone number, i see no reasons on why you should share your contacts on Facebook with the public.

Prank callers, stalkers, identity fakers, email spammers and contacts seekers could seek to exploit you with such advantage by doing all sorts of things to ridicule your social and personal circle.

If you love talking/mailing to friends on Facebook, try restricting your contact info to friends, school colleagues or only friends of friends, it will minimize vulnerability if your friends are somewhat trustworthy.

2. WORKPLACE:

Why on earth would you want to share your work information if you love privacy and fear Kidnappers. It's scary but they have been cases of people being kidnapped for letting their jobs life go public without proper caution. If it's not a Facebook Page don't share, except you're a public figure.

Next time you think of sharing your workplace, think again.

3. HOME ADDRESS:

No one would love surprise visits from unknown or untold guests, especially if you stay with your parents or otherwise.

I hate surprise visits and so would some of y'all, except sanguine ! To halt such visits, make sure you never share your home address(es) on Facebook except otherwise.

Who knows whether poachers are looking for who to visit!!! Don't be a victim.

4. RELATIONSHIP STATUS OR INTEREST :

If you're married or single, it should stay private, except you don't want poachers trying to sway you to their tune - try keeping it private.

If you are interested in Women or Men it should stay private, except you wanna get hooked up or do something like that.

5. YOUR BIRTHDAY

I actually mean the date like 1989... 1993... everyone loves good birthday wishes. If you don't like amebor analysts crawling your profile for your age information, make it private or restricted to your circle of friends, classmates and families who you trust.

WICKEDNESS: See What This Alhaji Did To This Young Girl (photo)

This is a story shared on Facebook by a Nigerian journalist with DW Radio Service in Germany, Faruk Muhammad Yabo.

He shared the picture of a young 8-month pregnant orphan girl who was impregnated by an alhaji in Sokoto. Read the sad story below:

“The story of this under-aged Maimuna an orphan of Birnin ruwa village in sokoto who was raped, impregnated and abandoned by one Alhaji Giwa of the same village as accused, is very touchy.

Maimuna who is 8 month pregnant, has nobody to cater for her pregnancy in this very young age. She is now helpless her father died since, and the person accused of impregnating her denied before the upper sheri’a court in sokoto, but Maimuna insisted that Alhaji Giwa as accused, was the only one who impregnated her.

”The two witnesses from the same village have attested before the court that Alhaji Giwa even told them that he will take Maimuna to a specialist for abortion, but later changed his mind. A child of a very poor family, Maimuna is in dare need of assistance from human right agencies because Alhaji the person accused of impregnating her already hired a lawyer for the case”

See what Guardiola Say Yaya Toure Must do If he Wants to Play for Man City

Yaya Toure has been told his Manchester City career is over unless he apologises for comments made by his agent.

Pep Guardiola issued the ultimatum after he was angered by public criticism from Dimitri Seluk in the wake of Toure’s omission from City’s Champions League squad.

Seluk claimed the four-time African Footballer of the Year had been left humiliated by Guardiola’s decision but said Toure would stick out the remaining year of his contract.

The 33-year-old, who called time on his Ivory Coast career on Tuesday, is yet to appear for City this season.

And ahead of Wednesday night’s EFL Cup tie with Swansea, Guardiola made it plain that will not change unless his terms are met.

He said: “It was so difficult for me to put him out of the Champions League, so difficult. I know him, I know he’s a good, good guy, but the list is the list.

“But the day after his manager [agent] spoke, and from that moment Yaya is out.

“Go to the media and apologise to Manchester City – the first one – the second one his team-mates and, after, the trainer. When that happens Yaya will be part of the group and he will have the same chance to play all the games.

“I cannot accept as a coach every manager, when his player doesn’t play, goes to the media and speaks and speaks and speaks.

“I cannot imagine in my period when I was a football player, my manager going to the media and speaking against [then Barcelona boss] Johan Cruyff, about this and about that.

“Maybe it’s a new era now, the new period changing, but I’m an old guy. I am old generation, and an old generation manager has to make his players his job and trainers his job.

“Today the managers believe they are more than they are. If he has a problem call [City director of football] Txiki Begiristain, the club, and they can talk. Until he doesn’t speak, Yaya is not going to play.”

Boko Haram Lay Ambush For Military Escort In Borno

Today afternoon, suspected elements of the remnants of Boko Haram terrorists who were foraging for food, ambushed troops of Operation LAFIYA DOLE escorting commercial vehicles from Damboa to Maiduguri, at Sanda general area, Borno State.

Unfortunately, 5 civilians lost their lives at the incident and another died on the way to the hospital. Three soldiers also sustained injuries.
The wounded have been evacuated to Maiduguri.
Consequently, another robust patrol team has been despatched to reinforce the troops, clear the general area and pursue the terrorists.
This unfortunate incident has brought to the fore the need for more vigilance and cooperation amongst all.

We would like to assure the public that we would not allow this isolated incident to thwart the peace and security commuters enjoy along the route and all other opened routes in the North East.

Troops are on the heels of the attackers and would not relent till they are apprehended or killed.

Additional security measures have also been placed to avert reoccurrence.
In addition, the Theatre Command, Operation LAFIYA DOLE wishes to clarify that alleged suspected Boko Haram terrorists attack at Chibok is not correct.

What happened was that, 2 persons were murdered at Kwamjilari village, (which is over 30 kilometres from Chibok, and very close to Sambisa forest), by suspected remnants of Boko Haram terrorists looking for food.

We wish to reiterate that they weren't killed outside or near a church as being bandied around.

The people from the said village are all in Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp in Chibok. Those who went back to the village without authorization were moved back to Chibok 2 weeks ago.

Those killed went back on their own contrary to security advise.

Nevertheless, a patrol team was sent from Chibok went to the village this morning. Adequate measures would be taken to ensure no one go back to the village for now.

You are please requested to disseminate this information to the public through your esteemed medium.

Thank you for your usual and kind cooperation.

Naija Cry: The Cry of My Beloved Country Nigeria - Akeju Oluwatosin

I hear the voice of my beloved country, crying out loud from the heart of Africa. Who is going to wipe her tears away, who is going to comfort her during this her hard times? Everyday she goes to bed to sleep drown away in her sorrow.

Naija Cry, Oh Yes I heard her voice from afar, in her silence she weeps alone. Her breast sags from her chest, she has been milked dried by the greedy children she gave birth to, constantly left uncared for by the same children she cared for.

Now she looks so lean and totally uncared for, but yet in her pain and state of health, she never stop giving birth to new children nor did she cease to feed the once she had before, but with the look in her eye she might soon exhaust the last milk she had left just for her children sake.

Now her milk is all dried and there is nothing left to care for her new children again, so will she lie in wait for her older children to care for her and new born kids.

What would be the fate of her young children in the hands of the older ones, whose fat Tommy and greedy nature has made them care for themselves alone?

What would be the fate of their loving mother Nigeria, whose breast has been sacked dried by Rebellious and self centred children.?

Who will come to her rescue?
Oh Naija Cry!
She cries of hunger, She cries of pain, She cries for the state of her unkept children, She cries for the future that lies ahead of her unborn kids.

Sorry Mother Nigeria, I know someday your Children would come back to their sense and take care of you and your children.

Love you Naija.

I Reason Why I am Corrupt as a Nigerian

Nigerians are corrupt, they say. I am a Nigerian and I know why I am corrupt.

I am corrupt because I am hungry. Because I need the food, the whole food and nothing but the food. Because I have to “hustle” if I want to see the food. Because without food I amuse less, to myself and to society. A hungry man has no principles; morality is a luxury affordable to the well-fed. I am corrupt because my hustle for food is filled with obstacles, because I cannot work as a labourer without tipping the foreman, because I cannot work in the civil service without greasing the wheels, because I cannot work in the private sector without “knowing” someone, because I cannot get a contract without contributing to the network. I am corrupt because I am hungry.

I am corrupt because nobody knows tomorrow. I am corrupt because my society has no welfare plan and the pension scheme is unreliable. Yet a portion of my salary has to go to the pension scheme, tax and whatever else the government decides. I have no confidence in the private sector—because the labour laws are unhelpful. Because my employer is able to fire me without compensation. And other people are waiting to take my place. Because my hard-built business may collapse any time. And it is a foolish person who forgets to plan for the future. I am corrupt because my daily bread is not secure. I am corrupt because I do not want to beg tomorrow. I am corrupt because I do not want my children to be corrupt.

I am corrupt because tertiary education is a status symbol. I am corrupt because academic achievements are required to attain a comfortable middle class life. And even though I have technical and vocational skills, I cannot get a job without a certificate. The right certificate can make a way where there seems to be no way.

I am corrupt because I have to do whatever it takes to get the right certificate. Because I do not want to be condemned to a third-class economic life. I am corrupt because academic knowledge is power. I am corrupt because I need a car.
Because I need a generator and a water pumping machine. Humanity has progressed and the individual must progress with it. And I want to enjoy the comforts that modern science and technology offer. I am corrupt because I would rather drive than walk kilometres. I am corrupt because our cars are treated with more value than our roads. I am corrupt because we have bad roads. And the bad roads have ruined my car. And I have to pay my mechanic to be able to continue the use of my car. I am corrupt because I need a new car. I am corrupt because God has invented the private jet.

I am corrupt because I am religious. Look, heaven helps those who help themselves. I have been taught this since I was five, that the race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong. Because my religion insists that I will prosper only through divine favour. Because I have been assured that success does not come through hard work. Because I have seen people succeed in life without hard work. Because I must give “my testimony” too, someday. I am corrupt because I pay my tithes.

I am corrupt because the alternative is dangerous. In the final analysis, the price of honesty outweighs the consequences of corruption. Because there is no safety net for the honest person. Because a N100 note privately donated to the policeman is less cumbersome and less problematic than an honest trip to a Nigerian police station. I am corrupt because corruption is a logical process, because integrity is unreasonable. I am corrupt because corruption is ordinary: a mundane fact of life. I am corrupt because corruption works.

I am corrupt because the government is corrupt. And members of the government amass more power and gather more wealth. Worse, the lawmakers have legalised corruption and they simply allot public funds to themselves through the law. Yet, the economy of the country hasn’t changed: the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Because the government has an anti-corruption crusade but it has no welfare agenda. Because those who claim to tackle corruption belong to the corrupt system. I am corrupt because Idon’t trust the government.

I am corrupt because the system is corrupt. Because this country is a public limited company whose majority shares are held by looters. Because this is the Federal Republic of Nigeria Plc. where corruption is the price of a sizeable shareholding. Because honest people don’t get to own a stake in the country. Because any Nigerian can become the president but a corrupt person stands a better chance. Because shares in the government are traded by the insiders. I am corrupt because this is an unregulated stock market. I am corrupt because everyone else is corrupt.

I am corrupt because I want to stop corruption. I am corrupt because I am a social activist. I am corrupt because I cannot change the system from without. I have to join the system if I want to change the system. I have to win an election if I want to join the system. I have to join the party if I want to win an election. I am corrupt because I am anti-corruption.

But you are not a Nigerian; you cannot understand why I am corrupt.
